Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th, 1956 on the outskirts of Woodland Hills California. The mother of the child was home as a mother. Michael Dennis Kevin is her older brother. She has three siblings. Beginning at a very early age McCormick enjoyed singing and dance, and she would frequently present puppet shows to kids in the community. When she was just 6years old, she won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her and asked if the actress would be interested in a career in showbusiness. McCormick got her first big job in 1964 when she appeared in a television commercial for Mattels latest doll, Baby Pattaburp. She subsequently starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for Wind It up and It's Broken by The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned to play the eldest daughter of the three towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed as well as a brand new family. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in the year 2008. The book revealed that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on the sets of the show in the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. The actress was sixteen years old, and the actor 19 at the time. The incident could have occurred, she told me, but the timing wasn't right for us.
